We’ll be more than happy to help, just give us a call! Please note that the Custom Pro Pouches will have a slightly longer lead time and carry an MOQ of 2,500 bags.

A: We have die-line templates on our website that you can download and use! Make sure to follow the instructions, which are listed directly on the templates. We offer complete in-house design services for an additional charge, and our designers will do it all for you! If you wish to try it yourself, we can help guide you through it for free! We recommend having someone who is fluent in adobe illustrator help you with your design if you choose to do it yourself. We also offer a complimentary in-house service for simple design tweaks that take less than 15 minutes. If they exceed 15 minutes you will be charged for 1 hour.

A: We charge $80/hour with a minimum charge of 1 hour. Billing will be added to your order upon customer file approval.

A: This limits the back and forth and helps us get you your order as fast as possible! If the tweaks are minimal, we can adjust the design for you and send it back for approval. If the tweaks take less than 15 minutes, the adjustment is free!

A: Yes! Many of our customers do this for short prototype runs, proof of concept projects, and pre-production demos. The pouches are more expensive; however, you can expect a production pouch that’s professionally made just like the rest of the bags we supply.

A: You bet! The materials used are high barrier substrates and most can meet FDA regulations for direct food contact. You can find industry spec sheets on our website.

A: Yes. A gloss finish will have optically clear product windows, but a matte finish will create a frosted glass effect.

A: Yes, the inside of the bag will have a metallic look, and the outside of the bag will shimmer as well – unless your artwork has a white base layer below the colors. The inks are semi-transparent so if you want your bag to lightly shimmer, through the ink, you can omit a white base. Please note that colors may slightly change on a metallic film if printed without a white base layer.

A: Shipping is quoted separately once you finalize your pouch options! You can choose from ground to priority overnight shipping.

A: Tax is added on the same page that the shipping is added (after finalizing your pouch pricing). If you are a New York State resident, tax will be added, unless you submit your NYS re-sale certificate to us via your account page. If you are outside NYS upload your re-sale certificate. If you need a certificate to fill out we can provide you with one.

A: No, you need to add your product first! Your bags will be sent unsealed on the fill side, where you can then add your products and seal on site! Bags should be heat sealed after filling to keep your products fresh and safe. A few types of affordable sealing systems are impulse and band sealers. Make sure to check with local/state regulations for laws on packaging and sealing Cannabis & CBD products.

A: Cannabis/CBD regulations vary state by state. We sell to the entire USA so we strongly recommend thoroughly checking your local/state Cannabis/CBD packaging regulations prior to submitting an order. It is your responsibility to ensure that you order your custom packaging in accordance with your local/state regulations prior to using them for sale. CannaZip is not responsible for checking local/state laws for you. We are not liable for the end uses of your packaging. Bags will be supplied as you have ordered them so please do you due diligence!

Your art files must be submitted using the die-line templates we have listed on our website. We will not accept or produce art files that are not formatted using the provided templates.

Although the highest quality high barrier materials are used, the shelf life of each product is unique. Due to the high variations of products, Cannazip cannot warranty shelf life of an individual product. We recommend thorough testing to determine your products useable shelf life.

Various heat sealing products are available to seal your product inside until it’s time to be used. Impulse and band sealers are commonly used options.

Barrier refers to the rate of oxygen and/or moisture permitted to pass through the material over a 24-hour period. Our pouch materials are all considered high barrier.

  • High Barrier material has oxygen transfer rate ranging .06 to .065

In order to keep our process fast and streamlined, we do not offer physical proofs. Digital proofs will be provided prior to production. If you have a specific color(s), please note the Pantone value of that color ,in writing – at the time of order, to ensure accuracy. As always, we will confirm your proof wand obtain your approval prior to having your bags produced.

We recommend only submitting high resolution, vector art files in Adobe PDF/X1a:2001 and Adobe Illustrator X1a:2001

Orders received, weekdays,  after 5pm EST will be attended to as soon as possible, but may carry over to the next business day. Orders submitted after 5pm on Friday will be processed Monday morning. Production runs Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm EST. You may submit your order on our website 24/7, and our team will assist you as soon as possible.

Your products are custom made to your liking and specification. We do our best to make sure every pouch is perfect, however, production equipment has manufacturing tolerances. There is some minor variability when bags are made. Such tolerances and artwork designs may yield bleed carrying over from one side of the pouch to the other, or minor variations from bag to bag. Please refer to our guides section to learn how you can help ensure your bag comes out perfect.

A: If you do not need a child resistant zipper, specialty laminate (i.e.soft touch or holographic laminate) or rounded corners on the bags, there is no MOQ and we can supply the packaging in 5 days or less, depending on the production time chosen. The production timeline starts once the artwork proof is approved. Pricing for the rapid turn around, no MOQ program is shown right on the website at the bottom of the order page. Payment is required upfront in full for this service. If there are multiple sku’s, but they are all the same size bag, you can apply all sku’s of the same size toward the given quantity, however, there is a $125 charge per additional sku.
 
The Custom Pro Program is available If you need any specialty features such as a child resistant zipper, specialty laminate (i.e.soft touch or holographic laminate) or rounded corners. There is a 3 week production time, from proof approval, and 5,000 unit MOQ per bag size. If there are multiple sku’s, but they are all the same size bag, you can apply all sku’s of the same size toward the 5,000 unit MOQ. Payment for this service is 50% down, 50% prior to shipment and carries a +/-20% manufacturing tolerance. 
 
There is a 2500 unit MOQ for each additional SKU.

A: On our Rapid Production, No MOQ’s program, we have a 5,4,3,2, or 1 day production timeline. The production timeline does not start until you have signed off on your pre-print proof. From there, the production timeline will be according to the production time you have chosen on your order. We offer free ground shipping on Rapid Production orders. Typical delivery is 10-14 business days from the date of proof approval. You may choose an expedited shipping option for a fee. Each day that you shorten the production window increases the price by 25%. The best combination of price and speed is a 5 day production and expedited shipping option, such as 2 day shipping or over-overnight.

 

A: On our Custom Pro Pouches Program, there is a 3-4 week production timeline from the date of proof approval. The production timeline does not start until you have signed off on your pre-print proof. From there, the production timeline will be according to the production time you have chosen on your order. Typical delivery is 4-5 weeks from the date of proof approval. You may choose an expedited shipping option for a fee.

A: Labels are a 5-7 business day production timeline, from the date of proof approval + shipping transit time. If you need a custom die for your order, this may add a couple days to your production timeline. You may choose an expedited shipping option as well.
